Same here in north central MD. Snow is so deep my tractor (MFWD 870 w/ag. tires) started spinning going up a slight incline with FEL and rear blade raised.

The snow was higher than the top of the front tires and the grill was pushing snow aside! I'm going out again this morning and will take the camera.

Stay safe, all.

Here is a few photo's from yesterday 11+hrs of snow blowing
14 driveways ,church parking lot and one about 3 city blocks long. helping a farmer so he could get round hay bales down to his horses...He works for State plowing snow truck.
His wife pulled 5 square bales on a tarp to feed them just a few minutes before I got there..

Can you take some pictures of your new snow blower clearing the deep snow?

I have a Meyer blade on my smaller tractor but i had to use my loader on my TLB to shove the snow in a pile.- I plan to buy a snow blower after this snow, and will look this week to see what my dealer has.

I have a brother that lives in MD and his power is out.

Take a good look at the 59 Snow Blower. We didn't get as much snow as you (we got 16") but the 59 Blower worked great on my half mile driveway and two of my neighbors very long driveways. I have no doubt that it will handle much more snow. No clogs and throws snow like you cannot believe (40-50 ft). I also had a 47 Blower on an X485 about 8 yrs ago and that worked great also. Good luck.

I spent all day yesterday and up until 2 PM today digging out. Put 3 hrs on my ranger and 7 on my tractor. Took me several hours this morning to move all of the snow that was plowed into my drive entrance and around my mailbox. The snow was piled up deeper than my mailbox. I am sure glad I have the tractor.

I am now in the market for a 3 pt snow blower.

KeithT Yesterday while out using my frt mt 47" blower , a friend came using his Kobota w/ rear blower..
As soon as I turned my engine off to talk to him, his first words to me
If the dealer would have been opened today and he had one in stock I would have a front mt blower...I hate this rear mt...
I asked him about loosing the use of his FEL... He said he didn't care ,he just bought this blower last fall and tractor 2 yrs ago... It had taken him close to 2hrs to come down his dirt road Of course the lane he lives on is appx 1 mile or more in length. He had been blowing snow for 5-6 hrs ,and he said if there was any way before the next snow he would have a frt mt blower.
From my point of view there is no way I would own a rear mt blower...After blowing snow for about 14 hrs over the last 2 day...Just using rear blade today for about an hr. is enough to tell me NoWAY
I know frt mt cost more ... maybe find a used frt mt got mine for about a 1/3 of the cost of a new one..

Just my 2 cents

Thanks for the feed back. Unfortunately my tractor does not have a mid pto or enough hydraulic GPM for a front mount. Maybe I need to rethink and think about upgrade tractor....

I dont want to over react to one big snow though. This is my first winter in the new house. We have a 900' steep drive. So far I have been able to handle everything mother nature has thrown at me. I would like to have something to remove deep snow quickly though.
