I've had my 5065E with the 553 loader for 4 (come spring) years and have 300 hours on it. I did not get the power reverser and I got industrial tires on mine. I ordered aftermarket wheel weights instead of loading the tires. Love the tractor and haven't had any real issues. The ground near the battery likes to vibrate loose, and I'm having trouble keeping the bolts holding the seat tight. I would like to have had adjustable drag links for easier 3-pt hookups.

I would recomment getting a canopy of some sort. It makes a huge difference when working in the sun. I pulled a set of 3-14 plows with ease when doing my hayfields. You might try 4-14's if the price is right, but I'd look for a set of 3-16's but would jump on a set of 3-14's. The bushhogging I do is not level and overgrown. It's too much tractor for a 6 ft bushhog and you won't cut your tires out which is all kinds of annoying to me. I picked up a heavy duty 7' 3-point bushhog recently at an auction and it works really well. I believe that a 10' bushhog would be way too much for the tractor to handle. An 8' would work for grass mowing but probably not moderate/heavy brush and steep hills. I don't have front weights so I leave the loader and bucket on for front ballast when using the bushhog. I also have a 4x4 round baler I pull with it. After using it for awhile, I should have went with a 4x5 baler. You can run a 6' tiller as deep as it will go with no issues. I'd like to find a 7' one to ,once again, cut my tires out.

Make sure after you put a few hours on it, that you tighten the hose clamps for the coolant system. Then again afrer a few more hours. If not, they will weep antifreeze.

I got mine Friday. 28 hours on it as of yesterday. Graded 28 acres, hit ,200 stumps, almost got stuck twice. Thing is a beast. I'm surprised I didn't break anything.half my dash lights don't work, but the tractor is so comfortable and so much power and strength. Its perfect for my property. I love it. Got my box blade from everything attachments. It wasn't phased either. They build top quality stuff at a fraction of the price.

Thanks guys for all the replies great info about the six foot vs seven or eight foot bush hog crowbar! I have heard about checking radiator hoses also.thats the first I've heard about seat and ground wire but glad to get the heads up on a few things hopefully I can prevent a problem before it occurres now that I know I will definitely be keeping my eyes on those things.would really like to find a good deal on a pull type offset plow but man there proud of those things.may have to settle for a heavy duty 3 point tandem disc for now.anyone have experience with an offset would love to here some input local dealer says a six footer would work this tractor do they really cut that much harder than a tandem ?

There are so many variables that without more info from you, all you will be getting are guesses and general suggestions. You think that a 6' disk is small and yet I could probably show you one that you could not even pull. I have seen 12' disks that require a D8 to pull.

Pictures and a description of your grounds really helps. Are you wanting a wheel transport disk, or an old simple pull disk? I have a 75HP tractor that weighs 10,000lbs without the loader, I pull an old 8' Kielfer-JD disk with 22" pans. Most of the time I barely know the disk is back there and yet at other times, if the ground is just right and going up hill it's all the tractor wants.
