What a differance a tracotr can make ....

I have no way of posting this picture for very long , but this is looking at my Pumpkin Patch , 250' X 425' from the Northwest corner to the Southeast corner ,,, These lil' pumpkins (100- 200 lb'ers) with luck will be ready to pick the second week of September..

Nice pumkins! I had planted tons last year, only got 9 total! rained out, this year I had one volintier come up, it has 4 or 5 on it that are beach ball sized go figure... lol

what varriaty did you plant?

The Variety is called " Prizewinner " averages for me any way about 125-145 lbs, unless I really push it then they will top 200lbs ... They have good color and shape with very little effort , like turning etc ...They run about 40' of runner my rows are 15' apart and space'n is at 10-12' ......

I have give some thought to a pre-planting weed control , but not sure just how it would change things . I start my plants in a green house in order to get a long enough growning season ,any weed control have seen will not let me do that ,, so I am master of the shiney hoe ....lol
