The tractors. Most, if not all, the tractors we're reading about on these pages didn't come out of India, they came out of Korea or Japan. Letting your reputation swing on contracted units is dicey. I agree that the communication issue is as big as the actual problems.

However, like most units built in India, my 4025 is a beast. I treat it rough, understanding that I need to do more than the norm for maintenance and repairs. And breakage will likely be on me, not it. It has not let me down, outside the known leaking fuel lines and one Ansung line leaking.

There are many complaints with the Mahindra made tractors from India, probably more than TYM made tractors. Every manufacturer has problems. Some tractors will run for 20 years with no problems and other tractors will not make it 20 hours without problems from the same make and model. TYM has made tractor for Mahindra for over 15 years now. I'm sure if there was a major problem they would have made a deal with another manufacturer by now, or started building them their self. About 8 years ago. I saw a brand new 70 hp JD shear an axle in 8 hours.

*Update

Mahindra is getting us into a 2555. We have to pay the difference of course but they are working with us. And our dealer has been extremely helpful going back and forth with Mahindra.

Maybe I missed it but do you have the 2555 now and if so, how is it working out?
