On of the only good things about the "new and improved" groups is that the 12,000+ messages will have a search engine to browse through the old posts. If the entire club moves here, you might think of the new/old Yahoo site as a searchable archive.
Thanks,
Cameron
There's the possibility, if the Yahoo messages can eb exported, that they could be imported here. But there are many issues associated with that, and I'd give it a slim chance even if the posts could be exported.
OHHHHHNOOOOO not again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!/w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif/w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif/w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif/w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif/w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif/w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif/w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif/w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif/w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif/w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif/w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif/w3tcompact/icons/sad.gifPlease if anybody else decides to help you make sure you continue to put REPOST on it. It got kinda monotonous last time around(keeping everything straight). No offense meant! /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif/w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif/w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif
I do not think there is any compelling reason to move or repost any of the messages. Yahoo has a search engine in the Groups and if anybody needs to do any research, just use the new/old Yahoo Yanmar Owners Group for that purpose. Just a thought,
Cameron
Pleeeeeeeeese NO REPOSTS PLeeeeeeeese. ARRRRRGH NO NO NO. NOT AGAIN. YOUR DRIVING ME @#$%^&* NUTS. NO NO NO. Let sleeping dogs lie. If someone wants thoese reposts they know where they are. Please, please, please. Not again please. Guess you know how I feel. Dola.
You guys are assuming that Yahoo will always keep that Yanmar group open. Hope you are right. Personally, you guys can print out the reposts I went to the trouble to move over and blow your nose with them, bw
