I'm thinking, I'm thinking!

Bear in mind, I'm new to all this and trying to learn, so if I've got it all screwed up, feel free to tell me I'm an idiot and how to fix the tool issue.

Hooked up the Middle buster for the first time today. I have no idea how to connect the lift arms, or if I need something completely different. The cable loops shown in the picture is the only thing I could come up with to be able to raise and lower the implement. Do I need different lift arms? I don't see any way to connect them to the implement, so I made these loops to go around the 3 point pins.

Looks like you need to hook up your top link. The top of the middle buster will attach to the top link. The top link attaches to your tractor.

Oh, I have that hooked up, but cropped it out I guess.. That doesn't allow me to raise and lower though.

The lift arms don't connect directly to the implement. They should connect with pins to the black arms your implement is connected to. There should be one (or a series of) hole(s) in those arms. I think I see one in the first picture just past that bracket.

That's the one.

Yeah, just went out and did that. I think I had it that way once before when doing something else, but I don't know why I didn't try it today. Learning process I guess.

Oh well, remind me to send you an ear of corn nest year when (if) my crop comes in.

I can't think of an implement where you'll need to take those lift arms off again. I had a landscape rake, middle buster, box blade and a rototiller and never removed mine on my Kubota B6100.

I need to remove them to put the backhoe on.

I'm thinking I probably knew where they should go, but had one of those ever increasingly common senior moments. Feeling kind of stupid after all.

+ 1 on the senior moments. If I'd had a backhoe it probably would have stayed on the back of the tractor 99% of the time too.
