What angle for weld-on Euro hooks?

No. Just no.

Pat's is just another version of a design that has been around since at least the 60s on tractors like Oliver. Per their own company page, he came up with his version in the 90s and started the manufacturing company in 2000. The things unique about Pat's are that they are installed over the existing ball ends on the lower links, and that the hooks connect to just the regular straight pins on implements. Both of these unique aspects are drawbacks as much as they are features.

Pat's Quick Hitch has a place helping people achieve some level of quick hitching, but the euro hooks are a far superior system and much older design.
Nope, the old Oliver and even some of the older Fords had the quick latch hooks that fastened around balls just like the Euros do now

Is there any way to compare based on quality rather than price?
Unfortunately I don't have much to go on outside of price at the moment. None of the local dealers stock these, so once I order a set I own them.

Both CBM and Walterscheid make some great 3 pt components, expensive but good quality products.

Can you show the price variations and what you get?
There can be a big difference when comparing different sizes.
The bottom end of the price scale is this one at about $128 CAD, plus shipping and possibly an import fee.
The high end is from my preferred dealer locally, and from what I understand is made by CBM Germany. It's the Cat 2S one you see below, and retails for $249. Basically double the price per tractor once sales tax is applied.
There's a couple options in between, but not from suppliers I normally deal with and with no name brand attached. So really it likely comes down to those two options. If this works out, I have 2 other tractors to convert. Picking the wrong one is risking wasting either a substantial amount of money, or a substantial amount of time.

Sorry LouNY I'm confused. It's been a long day. Which part are you disagreeing with?

I believe it was Oliver that actually invented them and I have seen them on older Oliver’s several times. I have never seen them on any older Fords.

Pat's just have a notch like a quick hitch for the pin.
