I see they have 3 loaders for the 2210, what are the differences. No dealer has gone over this with me yet?

Thanks

KC

KC,

1. There is the old style 210 (tried and proven and all fabricated design). It has the quick-tach feature.
2. There is the new 200X (which uses cast components as well as fabricated). It does NOT have the quick-tach feature.
3. There is the new 200CX (which uses cast components as well as fabricated). It also has the quick-tach feature.

If you are in the market for a 2210, my advice would be to get a 210 loader -- if your dealer can locate one -- otherwise go with the 200CX. I base this statement just on my gut feel that the 210 looks more heavier duty. It probably isn't, and pretty soon, all 2210 owners are going to have to go to the new design, but if I was in the market for one, and there was a 210 available, that's what I would get. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I just took delivery of a 2210 with the 200cx 53" loader. The 200cx is the quick detachable loader. It goes on and off real easy. No pins to mess with, just flip up the two latches, move the joy stick, disconnect the hoses and back away from the loader! It takes more time to unhook/hook-up the hydraulic hoses than the rest of the procedure. The 200cx is about $300 more than the 200x. My dealer told me the 210 is discontinued.

We use our 2210 mostly for mowing (62c MMM). The tractor handles and rides much better without the FEL.

Is there any visual difference in the new loaders? Does the 200cx "quicktach" still use the square mounts and twist-grip deal? I thought maybe the 200 might be a curved design like many manufacturers are going to for improved visibility. speaking of which if there is a new 2000 series hopefully will have a lower hood line so one can see what one is doing with the loader...

There is a huge difference visually. The frame mounts are no longer the square tubing. The stantions and mounting parts are now cast and not fabricated. The arms are much smaller now. The profile looks like it would go along with a sloped hood very well. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
