Price Check What are these 2 worth and which if either?

My JD 870 ground speed decal says it will do 0.9 mph in first gear at 2600 rpms. One would hope can rototill with that. My 870 has 3 gear ranges and 3 gears for a total of 9 forward and 3 in reverse.

Correct, with the first four gears running .9 1.2 1.5 and 2.9 mph. Since this tractor has power steering it is supposed to have the synchromesh transmission too. Should be fine for rototilling.
