What are you OCD about?

I am the same about the garage door when we leave. Did I close it? Have had to drive back a few times to check, sometimes a good drive. Now we both pull ahead a bit and confirm the garage door is closed and say it out loud. And we don't pull away till it is closed completely. Lol

I can't even cook in the palatial kitchen i devised, because the wife fills it up with her paper work.

Made my wife a home office just across the hall from our bedroom. Everything you would want is there so where does she do her paperwork. At the foot of our bed.
Drives me crazy.

I always clean, sharpen and refill fluids on my chainsaw after use. That way it is ready to go next time I pick it up.
that's good practice, even if it is a bit OCD :)

There aren't any that come to mind for me...although does adjusting picture frames to --- NOT --- be level make me a bad person?

It generates an OCD urge in a lot of people...

...like my wife!
that might be funny, or evil :) ... going with funny

I hate the "twist and tuck" method for loaves of bread instead of putting the "tie" back on. I'm particular about how the dishwasher is loaded. I only drink milk from a "glass" glass, no plastic. I like to eat with a dinner fork (long tines) no substituting a dessert or salad fork. These are a few of my quirks.

I'm in on the bread tie thing and dishwasher loading... totally forgot about those ones!

Some of you have issues...

My dad was very OCD on things, which naturally made me have no OCD on anything. It drives my OCD wife nuts that nothing bothers me.

I am not sure this qualifies, but when I am having eggs for breakfast, I like to leave the remaining eggs in the 18 egg carton in a symmetric arrangement. I try to make the arrangement different and somewhat original each time. (There are only a limited number of patterns though, and I have probably found them all) This is harder (but not always impossible) to do when there is an uneven number of eggs left, which often makes me have one more or less egg than I had planned to have for breakfast. This is more like a highly personal early morning brain entertainment (HPEMBE) rather than OCD.

I've seen two or three other people do this and it drives me crazy. People that crack an egg to cook, and then put the shell back in the egg carton and not the trash or compost can. The egg residue glues the egg shell to the paper carton, making recycling very difficult.

My Dad and Younger Brother, were terrible at maintaining tools or being mechanical. I lived 3,200 miles away, but would visit often. And there was SOMETHING that needed fixing at their respective places. They would never have any common tools, like 1/2 inch, or 9/16 wrenches. These would be lost, or broken. So before flying out, or driving out, I would buy duplicate sockets and wrenches of the common sizes in anticipation that they would have lost all the ones I gave them the last time I visited. :)
