I just did some very similar work with bramble plus small brush (honeysuckle 1-3 inches thick). Cleared a couple of acres that was too dense to walk through with piranha bar on FEL and a bush hog on the back. Bush hog mulched everything up nicely. If I wanted to turn it into a lawn I would go back through with a good box blade with rippers to clear roots and level.

Cleared about 2 acres in an hour but would be much quicker if I had a grapple to grab the big stuff and move to the burn pile.
