What can you do in 4 days with a dozer?

RPW -- come over to Paige --- I'll show ya some cedars...From your pics you could easily walk around your property...I couldn't. We started walking our property line the first time with a chainsaw in front of me. 6 yrs later we're much better. I did hire a dozer at one point. But we had to hand clear to even see where/what we wanted dozed.

here in Idaho Cedars are trees. I never seen one that looked like large sage brush :laughing:

Instead of the time involved with mulching couldn't you just push them into piles and burn them. It would save alot of time as long as you can control it from spreading. Some dig a hole, and burn them in the trench and then refill it. Only some alternative ideas.

Yep, burning is quicker but.... it doesn't take much to get a burn ban on in the various counties. Also we're looking at using the mulch around the property such as walkways etc. and it appears that it's a good mulch for landscapers. Maybe a couple of dollars to pay for the fuel But primaily it won't be long before the county starts their burn bans and I don't want this stuff lying around to collect uninvited critters (snakes) and also it's taking up real estate that could be producing pasture grass. I get a bit parinoid since last year was so rough.

we have scrub trees down here called yaupons, and chinese tallow, and sweet gum, they are all pretty much garbage trees, yaupons, grow back after being mulched, or cut down, the roots need to be out of the ground so they will not come back,,,chinese tallow, is also a tree nobody wants.. a nuisance, and sweet gum is just no good

no cooling problems up here its always cold, I could see them getting warm tho. it did come from Lynn, had it about 3 months. They like to catch on fire tho, by the muffler if your in big bush, usually pine, spruce etc tho.
