What compressor would you get?

I ordered a air compressor and it came. But it had obviously fell over in the truck as it was covered in compressor oil and there was a giant dent in the tank. So I refused delivery. I decided to go with a different compressor this time and am trying to decide between two. I plan on doing some HVLP spraying, would like to maybe get a small sandblaster, plasma cutting and basic air tools. Its between these two

The IR has a smaller tank but flows more CFM

Go with highest pressure/CFM..... Get one that will only run at 50% duty cycle when you have your biggest air user attached and going....

After doing some research I think that will be the one. To me it looks like they are claiming 100% duty cycle which I really like.

Anything I ever bought from CH was junk and nothing but problems. IR is not top of the line but usually their middle of the road is good reliable equipment. I'd rather have a reliable 1 stage pump than a junk 2 stage. The IR 2 stage is 2x the cost. That should tell you sutten about CH.

Get the quietest one you can with the highest CFM at highest pressure.

Between those two IR absolutely. If I was going that large I’d probably chip in the few extra dollars for a Quincy.
