Not one darn tractor part. Not that my wish list wasn't under $1500 per item so I guess that is why he flaked. I did get a very nice Jackalope which I had wanted for some years. Ahh. I miss Wyoming.

He brought my kids some nice things... a bike for the youngest and a guitar for the oldest and he brought my wife and I some nice, warm clothes and lots of things to make us fat (candy). :D

I got a nice milling machine from Grizzly Tools, Model #G1007. I now have to figure what to make with it. Any ideas?

Only "toy" I got was a nice 24volt cordless drill. BobRip, I live only 2.5 miles from the Grizzly place here and need to remember to take along a napkin to wipe off the drool from my face every time I walk in those doors! Nice machine!

Now I am jealous.

I would recommend putting a power-twist link belt on it right away; it will help dampen any vibrations and the OEM belts that come with the Grizz machinery are junk, and frequently shed a pile of black crud all over.

For a few tips on things to make with that mill, just follow some of 3RRL's posts. He is the guy with the most ideas that follow a milling machine's path.

I seem to collect milling machines, as I have three of them. A Fray all position mill, a Bridgeport 2J and a Maho 600P Universal. Don't get to use them nearly enough!

That would not work out for me... I would "swing by" way too often on the way home from work. "Look what followed me home!" I would be broke.

I discussed the power-twist belt with the sales technician and he did not recommend it for machines where you move the belts around a lot to change speeds. It is not easy to move from pulley to pulley. The machine seems to run pretty smooth as is. They have bolts that lock the idle pulley and I think this helps. I am open to suggestions of course.

hmmm. A guitar for the oldest. He is a brave man indeed...

A guitar is much better than drum set or a violin though.. LOL
