don't trust them, how so?
Bird Flu? To a cook, an egg is sort of assumed to be virus free. Albertson/ Safeway is charging over $8 for a dozen. Winco is charging just over 5.50.
Its another reason I try best to shop at employee owned companies. There is no reason for this sort of markup from the Corp owned stores.

from my youth, recognize that, and request meds that are not addictive if at all possible. So they gave me oxycodone in the hospital. Works great! Too great! So I cut the oxy in the hospital in half and then in half again when I got home. Stopped all pain killers about 6 days ago.
I have several friends that went down that hole of addiction. I have full bottles of Oxy, in the med cabinet, and they are there just for pain emergencies. It would be so easy though to use one or two a day, for moderate pain.
I'll do 6 asperins some days, but the "Nukes," are reserved for emergencies.

Got it.
Yeah apparently it takes 100C for an entire minute to deactivate flu viruses (less temp, longer times).

I've had two hip replacements, which do set off the TSA security check point alarms. Some airports have a full body scanner but most of the smaller ones require a pat down. Always fun.

BTW, it's been my experience that the TSA no longer recognizes the cards issued to joint replacement patients since they are too easy to counterfeit. It certainly won't hurt to have one with you though. The surgeon who did my second hip replacement told me they no longer issue them.

You can download a TSA card on which you can describe your medical condition. It can save time in line:

Thanks!

Good to hear your doing well Moss. That looks like some serious surgery.
I wouldn't know.... I slept through the whole thing. :ROFLMAO:
I really liked the surgeon. Younger guy. Grew up here in town, went to local high school, IU for bachelor and Michigan for Dr.

Talked to many clients and all were satisfied. (y)

I cannot take any blood thinners like aspirin or NSAIDS either. So Tylenol it is. My kid who has chronic pain from endometriosis taught me a trick where you take one regular Tylenol and one Arthritis slow release Tylenol instead of two of the same. The one acts pretty quick and the slow release kicks in later. I'm down to 4 Tylenol a day for pain. (y)

I told my Uncle a while back, about arthritic pain I was having, and he said it runs in the family, about my age, and he said he was sorry... I just love the fact that he warned me. And he had friends that went down the nasty road of opioids. So there was nothing to be sorry about. One just maintains with the given lot. :)

Wrong again. It was alcohol. But thanks for the well wishes. (y)
I just recall how you once said you loved to smoke MJ and the only reason you don't currently is you were afraid of being caught on a random drug test at work. Good for you getting cleaned up.
