That made me go down to the basement and look at ours... It's an Armstrong and was installed August 24, 1984.

We bought the house around the summer of 1995. It was supposed to be our 5 year house... We're still here.

30 year old furnace. You are doing well!!

Cant complain as original to the house and only home I’ve lived in with A/C

Bought the place as is and every now and then little things come up but no complaints…

I had to replace the blower motor about 10-12 years ago.

I replaced blower motor in 1 of our 3 Lennox, recently a pressure switch. The great thing with parts interchangeability is I can swap parts to troubleshoot. They were installed 1995, propane gives very little trouble.
I did modify one that the condensation line kept freezing outside. I drilled 1/2" hole in PVC exhaust pipe just outside ,1/2" copper pipe through it to line from pump. Exhaust keeps copper warm enough so it never freezes.

Great to be able to troubleshoot with parts on hand…

My oldest central natural gas furnace is circa 1920 and as simple as it gets… I’m sure why after 100 years still performing.

Most of the neighbors have 1950’s gas furnaces but as folks upgrade to A/C the old furnaces are tossed… picked up a few spare parts…

Some years ago this person had one of the new energy efficient furnaces
installed after 2 months had his old one installed as the so called energy
efficient one use almost twice as much fuel.

Replaced our 1995 Furnace with new one. I had repaired the old Carrier too many times. New one was $4.8k and has a lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger. Old one just kept breaking too often and I travel quite a bit and when the wife has no heat... well you know how that goes !

A Ram 3500 Cummins CC longbed, two sets of wheels, and three sets of tires. Plus all the damn TPMS sensors.

My back will hate me after the mounting and balancing sessions.

Purchased another pair of Hella lamps. Found some time to construct brackets for the front/rear lights. Used heat shrink wrapped hefty SS square u-bolts with and 12" X 4" X 1/4" steel plates, shortened a bit. A couple of mock up pictures attached with loose brackets. Will disassemble to prime/paint the mounts, secure the lamps and figure out the wiring.

Just a recommendation but I would hang them inverted below the top of the ROPS. One good branch sliding across could remove all four of those lights.

Thank you; good point. Have been thinking about the actual mounting. The Hellas can be mounted three different ways. I could also mount them on the sides of the ROPs. They will be aimed suitably. Have primed and painted the brackets. Should be dry and ready to install today. Will figure out wiring after mounting has been firmed up.
