Bought a F150 Raptor R yesterday.. Kind of a play truck.. Not really meant for hauling anything but ass...

I bought the 160 acres of timber ground that borders my home. Timing was perfect. Most years I couldn’t have made it work financially. Glad we got it.

Wife has one... its in the shop. She loves it and wont part with it. Nissan only has one certified diesel tech withen 60 miles of us. The cummins dealer wont even touch them. Id have dumped it 2 years ago if she would have let me.
its a dang good driving and riding truck. much nicer than my chevy 2500. Engine wiring harness issues, turbo actuator issues, broken crankshaft issues. All which should be covered under factory recalls but arent.

Yeah I made the mistake of researching the Nissan Titan but not the Titan XD Cummins; totally different animal.

Even the Titan XD gas is ok but as soon as they slapped that Cummins in there a whole lotta problems arose.

I learned all that a day late and literally dumped it a day or so later, before any problems arose. I took a haircut on the trade but knew I would. Expensive mistake.

Three 1 x 8 x 3" poplar boards from local sawmill man to finish framing out my windows on a shed.

Took a quick 30min ride up to John Cross Fisheries In Charlevoix, picked up 4 slabs of their smoked Norwegian Salmon , kept 2 and gave 2 away. Hardwood smoked with Maple wood, off the charts delicious. They been there since 1945 and to say they got it down is an understatement.

I get delivery of my Ford GTX1 as soon as my lawyer confirms ownership, financial details and it then clears customs.
Should be end of next week.
Christmas in November. Hoping for at least one or two days nice enough to go for a ride.
