What did you buy this week?

How do you all get deer and squirrels to not eat them all?
I planted about 80 tulips, many surrounded by daffodils and other natural deterrents.
First year about 80% came up, most eaten.
second year about 10 left, all eaten.

I tried something new that hopefully works I read about tulip bulbs. Gravel sand. I have a large pile behind horse stable for paddock area so I put 2" on top of area. Not something animals want in their mouth.

My Dell laptop blew something out on its on switch. Went to Goodwill and on sale, they had an equivalent Toshiba for 35 dollars. Put in my old SSD from the Dell. Its missing a little plastic cover for the DVD burner, but who cares?

Bought a Landpride RC2512 12’ flex wing mower. Should speed up mowing considerably.

The cayenne pepper does seem to work to keep animals away. My wife mixes it with water to keep the raccoons away. You do have to apply it every few days and after a rain. They seem to like to dig up plants and potted plants looking for grubs.
