Indiana is similar... no permit required in state. But the state recommends you get a permit anyway so you can carry in states that reciprocate.
I saw that coming. About 12 years ago DW and I bought lifetime CC license.

Obtain a FFL.
Unfortunately ....
No, an FFL (Federal Firearms License) does not allow a person to carry a concealed weapon in all 50 states; an FFL is only a license to sell, manufacture, or deal firearms, not a concealed carry permit, and each state has its own laws regarding concealed carry, meaning you need a separate permit from the state where you want to carry a firearm.

I don't have a ccw and frankly, have no intention of getting one. However, I know that your last statement is incorrect. Many states have a "reciprocity agreement" where they honor each other's ccw permit. I know there are "lists" out there among the interwebs that will show you which states honor which "other state's" permits.

While true there is reciprocity between some states the states of DE and PA ( in the original question) share no such agreement and the FFL is not a CCW solution. However 31 states have open carry law (no permit required) but DE and PA are not on that list. Open carry states require a permit to conceal carry.

Yeah, no where in your post, which I quoted, did you state you were speaking exclusively about DE and PA. Sounded more like to me that you were making a blanket statement about all US states.

Sorry about that, I should have been more clear
