New blades for the JD x360.

I bought new blades for the X500 last summer, new electro-clutch, and a new deck belt.

Recently noticed a lot of noise from the deck, so removed it. All the blades and spindles are fine, but the 2 pulley tensioner and both idlers are shot. Managed to misplace the parts manual, when I find it going to be buying bearings and since the idlers are riveted replacements for those. Seems like a good job for inside the garage when the snow is flying this winter.

Stump Grinder, less expensive than renting or contracting out.
You got me thinking. I have 40 white pine trees to cut and the tree service was going to charge $100/stump. This Mechmaxx has an excellent rating and I'm thinking I ought to order one. I can use it occasionally in the future also. Pines are all about 2ft diameter +--. Have you used it yet? Seems like a great deal.
I also have four Bradford Pear stumps about 30" diameter.
Deere hydrostatic with 40 PTO hp.

I have the Woodland Mills version and LOVE it. Works great and so much easier than chopping them out by hand. There are tons of posts on here about both brands to get you in the mood.

I bought this 2016 Tundra tonight. Should I lose the front bumper? I guess the original owner hit a dear and put this on right after that. It's a bit much, but we do live in deer country.

Hale NO!
That’s a deer slayer, or anything else that you want pushed aside ;)

I use my front Ranch hand bumper to push hay bales across fields.

Thanks. Yeah, it sits in my drive most of the time, so I didn't want a $70k new truck tying up my $$$ just to pull my tractor once in a while. I also didn't want a car payment. I have a daily driver (SUV) that I commute to work with, but I want to be able to tow our bigger tractor if I need to. It was pampered by its former owner, and at 98k miles, it is just broken in.
