Recently lost our 30 y/o Holsteiner mare that we had for 27 years. Replaced her with a 9 y/o 17.3H Dutch Warmblood gelding. Made a 12-hour round trip to pick him up yesterday. Now he is safe at home, fresh out of the trailer so he is a little dusty.

Sandman, don't let that water get too old. It will taste like plastic and I suspect full of microplastics. I heard a report that most of us have a teaspoon full of microplastics in our brains. Some of these plastics we thought were our friends, are not.

Friend worked 40 years in a glass bottle factory…

He was and is very pro glass and always had not so good things to say about polymers.

Maybe he was right after all?

I bought a new steam sterilizer for work this week… 12 week lead time and will see if tariffs factor as many items in medical in whole or part are sourced overseas.

$75 in layer pellets and deer corn. Fixing to need to buy AA batteries for the cell camera, takes 12 of them. I have the solar panel, with battery pack, but something is acting up with the cable or connector.

Need to service the rear bearings on my 328Ci. Opted purchasing these two kits from AMZN rather than renting from local parts stores. Will come in handy on other vehicles as well.

Did not buy technically, but building a 30 x 40' barn with a lean. Will start another thread with some pictures etc. Here is a quick and dirty picture. This is in under two days. The ground was cleared two weeks ago.
