Not much movements to be honest but a lot of interesting projects where done. I was staring at my laptop screen whole day long as i work for a big company which provides software services to individuals and big companies. The good thing about my job is a flexible schedule and that i can work remotely when i want to do so.

This is not what I did today, but part of what I did for 30 years ending in 2017. This is only half of our printing press. It was too big to fit into one picture. The entire machine was 1/2 of a city block long and 6 stories high. To say it was loud in there would be an understatement. From 2014-2017 I was the night electronics and mechanical technician during press runs. I'd have to say that this was the most/best documented piece of machinery I ever had the pleasure to work on. There were hundreds of thousands of wiring connections and each and every one was numbered and documented. A fine example of German engineering. I miss it.

neat Moss!. We work on an Italian printing machine about 50 feet by 20 feet tall from time to time and its a total crap shoot for documentation. It is used to print food lables on shrink wrap.

we have been wiring up a tenet finish for a lighting store for the past few weeks, about 200 new boxes with outlets or for light fixtures in 1500 sq feet. lots of MC cable.

Yesterday at one of my employer's buildings I was flushing hot water lines for rust as part of a preventative maintenance program. I attached a garden hose at the flush point, grabbed the ball valve handle, gave it a turn, and WOOSH!!!! Firehose!

So much water came out that I couldn't see what was happening. I thought the hose had come off of the fitting so I tried to close the handle. Nothing was happening, and so I ran away. Turned back to look and the 3/4" pipe nipple above the fitting had snapped off! Looked around for a shutoff, found one, and stopped it.

I was soaked head to toe with hot, stinky, rusty water. Called a plumber to fix the nipple and put a new ball valve on. Went home to change clothes. Took my shoes off inside the back door, and even the toes of my socks were orange from the rust! :ROFLMAO:

Off today. But spent the weekend flying to and from NY LaGuardia. Great weekend, 30 minutes early on every arrival!
