In the video you mention wanting a backhoe to grub out Yaupon. A backhoe will work of course. We use one to grub out stumps. But before spending eight grand for a backhoe, I recommend spending two grand for a root grapple. We have good results ripping Yaupon out of the ground with it and then you can use the grapple to wad it up and carry the Yaupon to a burn pile. A root grapple is the most bang for your buck in tractor attachments. A small one the width of your FEL with a single lid is all you need. Take a look at Everything Attachments. If I had known how much the grapple could do, I would not have bought the backhoe.
Thanks! I'll definitely look into those. I have a lot of work to do. I am getting a landscape rake from EA. So I'm familiar with the company. Thanks again for the tip!
I took the plow off and I went with the FEL to move snow off the driveway and some from the side of the garage, snow came off the metal roof the day after we received all the rain.
Today I greased all of the zirc fittings on my 4540 and topped of the gas tank. I didnt know there was so many fittings on the tractor. It was well over due for some grease. Thank you to all those who wrote in to say when to grease everything.
A nephew of mine who does a lot of land clearing said that he does his greasing at the end of the day when everything is loose and warmed up. That is probably even more important in the winter.
