Just got an email from Otsego County emergency management, that all the county roads are shut down today, including I-75 both north and southbound. Only got less than a foot of snow, but the N/S roads are drifted over bad from the high winds that are just now starting to wind down. So, that is what my 2555 will be doing today. My buffalo ranch guy neighbor is breaking out his dozer, and I am going to help him open up our road with the snowblower. Road commission is going to concentrate on opening up the major road today first... [ Life is Good ]

Five months of unseasonable rainy weather has made a mess of the lane to our place. We got a break and most of it drained off. Today we boxbladed the lane and used the bucket to carry sand to the worst of it.

In 1850, my great, great-grandfather bought sovereign land in the form of a patent from the State of Texas. I think they must have dug that road out so that draft animals could make it up the hill pulling wagons.

My sister and I inherited it. She doesn't want any part of it and the property cannot be divided sensibly so I have to sell. The realtor made a drone video.

A little work after dark a couple days ago moving some concrete rubble. The 6075 and WR Long OBG-2 grapple had no problem with it.

I stopped plowing out this area when mother nature made all the trails a skating rink, today I decided to open it back up so I can start felling some ash trees in that area.

In pictures 2306 and 07 are some of the ash trees, we have some bigger ash on the side of the hill but the snow and ice will have to be gone before I get those.

Ash will be the wood of choice for awhile for many wood burners. There are so many dead ones, kinda sad really.

It sure is H.H., hopefully they'll find a solution for the problem so they can regrow ash.
