What did you do to survive the wait?

The 2320 is on order but it will probably take 2 weeks to get it. What can one do to survive this wait? I think I've watched every video on the JD website at least 5 times.

I have the same problem. I been waiting for 2 weeks. and i thought i was going to get my 2520 today. but now it seems it will be monday.. The backhoe is to close to the tires. so thay called john deere and JD said sometimes you haft to trim the step plate a little even though the tires are already set to the wide side. thay said thay seen it before.
so i dont get it til monday , other than that it is finished...
The last 2 weeks have been agony...

Congrads on the new Tractor. there is no ease of pain on the wait.
you just haft to suck it up , and take it like a man.. i know its hard.
i am glad my wait is almost over. I even been teased. i went to dealer yesterday and in the shop. got to play with loader and backhoe. and got all excited and had to leave it there. now that is rough...

Last year I waited two weeks on my 2520, then I was going to have to wait four more weeks before the mowing deck came in. My dealer, let me take the tractor home along with the gator I bought with it. I kept them for a month, waiting on the deck without even signing the finance papers. To top that, they even let me keep using my x475 that I was trading in. JC

I usually try to focus on buyer's remorse and forget about the new tractor coming. Only kidding. Not being here yet will give you something to dream about at night. Enjoy!

My first one took about three days. They had it in stock. My second one took 8 weeks and I was going nuts. The tractor was there but all the acc were not. I finally told the dealer to cancel the deal. He called a week later and said it was all there if I still wanted it. I took it and glad I did. But the wait is hard. Take your wife out shopping some

It will be 8 weeks Monday waiting for my new Kubota. Seems like eternity!!

Congrats on your new investment.
You could get those little projects done also the ones the Mrs. have ask more than onces for you to do,so that way when your new tractor arrives you'll have more time for bonding. ....oh heck w/that idea,make the place comfortable for the tractor also handy for you,plus stop by the dealer and say hi to the tech's....again congrats.

Yes, Nuru, I have enjoyed reading a large amount of the posts on this net. I have learned a great deal about tractors, implements, pulling, towing, hydraulics, quick disconnects, hills, rollovers, backhoes, FEL's, tow vehicles, trailers, 3PT vs sub-frame, harrows, disks, cylinders, etc, etc, etc. And most of all, what NOT to do on a tractor.

I thank all those who have contributed to the posts and it has educated me a lot.

But the time has come for seat time. No substitute for that!!! Come tractor, come to daddy.

Well, I bought my JD 2305 last saturday and it was delivered this morning (saturday, 1 week later). To pass the time, on monday I fell and cracked a rib. So, I have been passing the time doped up on Tylenol #3.
