What did you do to survive the wait?

I bought one in stock, but they had to order the loader for it. That took about 10 days. In the meantime, I had my Gravely to use. Don't know how my body survived with the Gravely. It's a killer compared to the JD.

Yes, Nuru, I have enjoyed reading a large amount of the posts on this net. I have learned a great deal about tractors, implements, pulling, towing, hydraulics, quick disconnects, hills, rollovers, backhoes, FEL's, tow vehicles, trailers, 3PT vs sub-frame, harrows, disks, cylinders, etc, etc, etc. And most of all, what NOT to do on a tractor.

I thank all those who have contributed to the posts and it has educated me a lot.

But the time has come for seat time. No substitute for that!!! Come tractor, come to daddy.

Where the average person has to wait up to a month, I would say that I am above average! Part of it was my fault. I had my mind made up that I am going to get the BX-24 before I test any tractors. The kubota dealer happened to order one in February and was due in march 11th. The dealer called me back and said that it will not be in until march 30th. Between march 11th and the 30th, I went to a John Deere dealer and happened to test drive the 2305. Just my preferance, I don't have nothing against kubota as they make a great tractor, I changed from orange to green. Now the wait is on for the green machine. My dealer said that everything is in except the cruise control and independent lift kit for mower. Anyway I survive the wait by reading all the great comments from TBN. (Im tired of looking at the John Deere videos too) STILL WAITING.....to continue....

Welcome to TBN ! Find a "harmless" distraction (but definately not something like sailing . Weather is better and more in keeping with the interests of tractor ownership). Treat wifey real nice and take her out to eat a lot. Get her "Project List" worked on (not everything, but show ~some "movement"). Develop a list projects and "necessary" attachements and fully research out all the attachment brands and potential uses. Develop a plan of action and necessary "convincing" strategies. Practice grovelling and kowtowing (in private). Role play the various scenerios (again in private). Do not and I repeat do not discuss tractor stuff in the bedroom . Good luck and be patient Jay

Well, you can do lots of research on what additional implements that you will need in the future, or you can pay some special attention to the female in your life, or the most painless venture would be do be doped up on some prescription drugs.
