Yesterday and today...

I'm deep in working on my taxes. FIRST I need to catch up on reconciling all the accounts, then Ineed to do the crporate taxes for my little company that I'm keeping open for some reason which makes almost nothing,THEN I can get the packet together for the accountant to do mine... Dear God I could really use a couple dollars back this year...

I HATE Tax season...

Until late yesterday I was working on the mounting brackets for auxillary lighting for my L4400 and my BX1500. I bought 8- 27watt LED flood lights and I am going to put 4 on each. Two mounted forward and two mounted rearward.

Yesterday Chief, Dottie & I went to the farm; took out some fence I don't need anymore, raked up the Honey Locust thorns from a tree that fell into the roadway recently & walked the trails picking up the Winter's windfalls. ~~ grnspot

Yesterday I worked from home, so no commute. But i killed the battery in 2 smart phones and was glued to my laptop all fliping day. I had to do all my chores in the dark.

I lit the fire for a rack of ribs (go see "whatcha eating" thread :licking I fed the horses, I moved 8 bales of hay from the "barn" to the house, I keep a stack of up to 12 bales under the deck in a dry spot where I can load the wagon and go up the hill to feed them). I had to move the bales 2 at a time cause the yard still is not dry and my truck would tear up the yard or spin out, and the tractor would REALLY tear up the yard. It was pitch black, and there is a big hill between the barn and the house, so I carefully pull my little wagon across side hill back and forth. It has only tipped over on me once, last night... after I finished my chores, which included keeping the fire going on the ribs, I had a happy hour with the wife as the ribs finished, and went to bed tired and well fed.

Not sure what I gotta do today...
