Thanks for the info, I am driving the long distances on my land right from my house so a trailer will not help. It's basically down the driveway and into the woods or across the field and into the woods. You guys have been a big help I will post once we get it.

I have had a 161-3 and was an excellent machine steel tracks, it is a little agressive on hardtops you need to drive slow it will leave marks, I now have a 080- 3 which is more suited to work on the property it is also steel tracks and you need to be super careful on blacktop. My 121-3 is a rubber track machine and I think it is more agressive on grass surfaces then steel tracks, tends to do more damage on turns then steel. So my pick would be to stay with steel it is best all around combination.

Excellent, welcome aboard! How much and what options. Did you get the steel tracks?
took delivery last night got the thumb cab ac float tilt blade rubber tracks $53500. haven't dug yet but did drive it and worked the controls I can't believe much Smoother it is than the old backhoe, kubota really makes quality equipment, makes you really feel like you got what you paid for. I really think this was a good choice can't wait to get in the woods with it. I will post pics soon! thanks again for the help!
Here are the pictures, sorry for the delay. I have used it on two projects now, can't believe how smooth it is what a difference from the backhoe I had on my L4310. and it is REALLY well built!

So any updates on the 161? Very nice looking machine! I have been looking at them pretty hard for a little while now, its a great size.
