Snow Attachments What do I need to remove snow with a John Deere 1026r

The best set up for me is front blade, rear snow blower. My advice would be to put the one on the front of your tractor that you use the most and for me that is the blade by a wide margin. Front mounted blowers are great if you get large amounts of snow but if you are moving 5" or less many times a year a good front blade is the fastest.

There are times when only a blower will do and for the occasional heavy storm, cleaning up drifts and moving back banks they are just what you need. You don't want to spend the big bucks on a front mounted blower and find you really spend most of your time with your neck cranked around working a back blade because saving that pain in the neck was the reason you thought he needed the front mount snow blower in the first place. Have fun and be safe!
