What do these numbers mean on a New Holland?

On the right side of transmission on the mounting boss is these numbers ( EM4H4C) (*6L23B*) ( *355273M). On the right side of engine on the pan rail in the center of engine is these numbers ( *NA639484*) (6J03) ( 82850639). Can anyone tell me what these numbers means? I am trying to figure out what size & year my tractor is. The person I brought it from didn"t know. If no body know maybe can tell me a site on internet where I can find out. The unit code could be from 1966 as well, but if it is properly badged as a New Holland, it is a 1996. Unit codes went by the wayside prior to 2006. I don't have all the model and serial number info here at home, but it looks to be a 4 cylinder Mexican-built S-series tractor (5610S, 6610S, 7610S) from 1996.

The person I brought it from said it was a 1996 or 1997 New Holland 6610. I change the hydraulic fluid & filter. It just held 15 gallons hydraulic fluid. According to TractorData a 6610S hold 56 gallons hydraulic fluids. Any more information you can give me will be a big help. Thank you.

It is likely to be a 1996 6610S. Always use the 'S' when describing the tractor, as there is a 6610 that precedes your tractor with many differences.
Tractordata.com is wrong often enough so as not to be trusted for more than casual use.

Thank all for the help? I think I may have to replace the hydraulic pump on it. The loader lift slow. It will not raise the front tires off the ground. I as want ing to make sure of the year & model so I can check the price for one. Thank you.

even with a new pump the loader will still be slow unless u have the dual pump set up which means there is one in the rear diff housing and a engine monted pump together they put out i believe 14 gpm but the one in the diff. housing puts out 8 or 9 and the engine mounted one puts out about 5 or 6

ditto what the others said.

remember.. 56 / 4 = 14.. so i take it TD was shooting for quarts.

my 7610s holds something between 13-15 gallons, depending on the sa hyds I've got hooked up to it.. so that sounds about correct.

ditto again what rick saidf about always refering to yuor machine as a 6610 "S" that makes a huge difference vs the 6610, and 6610 II models..

What is the difference between a 6610S, 6610, & THE 6610 11? I am new to theses newer model tractors. I am use to the 50's & 60's 8N & the 600 tractor. Thank you.

all just and upgraded model of each other the first was a 6610 then upgraded the steering and called it a 6610 II then came the 6610 s which had a different fuel system and built in mexico then the next 6610s had a different engine because emision controls and also a different filters because of emision and then the last 6610S had a different rear diff. because they used a larger hyd pump and had the emission controled engine
