What, they don't have UPS or Fed-X out in Show Low? I order from out of state for all kinds of stuff...not necessarily tractor parts but mostly off the internet for everything I buy. The shipping almost off sets the sales tax I don't have to pay and sure beats filling up the old truck with gas prices being what they are.

This may be a good time to bring up the standard "China tractor" disclosure that these tractors are a great value for do-it-yourself types who don't mind doing some tinkering from time to time. The quality has improved many fold since we started importing in 2003 but there is no comparison to our Kioti and Farmtrac brands that we also sell (which are comparable in quality to major brands). Chinese tractors are still somewhat unrefined and there is not the attention to detail often referred to as Fit and Finish. These are not tractors for those that expect to drive to town and pick up a part. The support of dealers varies greatly and will have some impact on the ownership experience. there are many who avoid the dealer altogether, purchasing a crate tractor shipped direct from China and get by, others will need the support of a selling/servicing dealer. Most are happy with their decision.

as for which tractor, that depends on the primary uses it will be seeing.

Any advise would be appreciated.
Thanks
I know a fella that has already had to put a clutch in his new 65hp 4WD John deer. He was slipping it too much useing the FEL. An older farmer friend of mine told me his new JD has been in the shop quite a bit cause he won't work on it himself. My Uncle has had his new compact JD in the shop twice because it just stopped running. Some sort of problem with the new engine computer. I'm not trying to knock JD, they are awesome machines but, the point is they all break down. Anyone who actually farms for a living and knows how to make money at it has more than 1 tractor just for this reason. They have learned that sometimes just a trip to the parts store ain't gonna be enough to get it going again. Parts for the chinese tractors are easy to get if UPS or the post office delivers to your house. If you go Chinese you will spend a few hrs working out the kinks. I think I got mine in April and it now has 70 very tough hours on it. Two minor breakdowns in that time. Both times I had parts in my hand within 2 or 3 days.

sorry jyouts but I dissagree: (not arguing just posting the facts as they have pertained to me and many others here)

parts are 3 days away or less in our world economy for just about ANYTHING let alone a pretty popular tractor frame such as a Jinma:

I got my parts that I recently needed in 3 days from texas, and well probably could have gotten them closer but I knoew that I could count on Affordable to get me the parts I needed and were at a good price. I did have one damaged seal, (outter dirt seal for my front axel drive assy.) they have a new one comming to me. right now I can't repair mine anyhow as it sets out at the farm away from the living home. the parts are goig to my farm house so they will be waiting for me tomarrow more than likely before I get there. SO parts are a non-issue anylonger for these in-expensive machines which work quite well. I broke mine doig somethinhg I normally wouldn't have done and had been damaged sometime prior and was working on breaking for a long time.

Well guys, bit the bullet today and bought a new, mfg date 6/06, Ag King 3540 w 160 Koyker from a friend of mine that has a full serviceing tractor dealership in Springerville/Eager, Az just 45 miles from our place. Lurking and then posting here and talking with several outfits around the country has given me a good working knowledge of, what to look for, what to have done and what to expect. The dealership in Eager TPX Ent. goes thru these things like no one else from changing ALL fluids, checking valve clearances, checking hydraulic flow, etc, etc. free pick up and delivery, parts in stock, warrenty and more. Very happy with the purchase. The tractor will be delivered on Friday. This guy is servicing tractors within a 100 mile radius and is selling a lot of tractors.

I'll post pictures when I get them.

I love Man Toys................

Arizona Hi Country
That's a pretty nice looking machine there. I'm glad you didn't the let small talk scare you out of buying it. With a little TLC and some good ole' fashioned elbow grease, you'll keep that thing running for a long time. I've yet to see any brand be free from repairs or maintenance so you save a lot of money up front.

I don't know if you've read any of my threads, but you'd see that I've pushed my Kama to the limit. It has had zero breakdown. The only problem I had was an electrical problem that took me a long time to find out it was a loose wire on one of the head lights...that simple...just took me forever to trace it down and I worked the tractor for 35 hours without the gauges working. I've got over 235 hours on it now and have made several improvements to it and my attachments.
The money I saved up front has allowed me to do those things...and I'm still way ahead and have a better equipped...custom machine than if I would have spent that money up front on a more expensive brand. Additionally, I'm no tractor expert and I've never owned another, but I can't imagine any other brand doing what this one has done any better? And as far as replacement parts, I haven't needed any so what's the big deal? I'm real happy with the Chinese tractor and would definitely buy another one.
