This crew cab F350 I have has so much interior space that a toolbox is not needed unless you want to carry a chainsaw or fuel can. Under the seats and in the doors I have benadryl, gas-x, TP!!! (should be on everyone's list), an very effective LED flashlight to replace my stupidly huge maglight, fire extinguisher, binoculars, state gazette book (map), folding army shovel, hatchet, jumper cables, first aid kit, socket set, spider cargo net, a stowed front license plate (in case the cops pull me over for not having it mounted), 30' tow strap, full quality raingear, white hard had, orange vest, blanket, ski gloves, and a pair of those atlas style blue rubber palmed gloves. There are several candy/power bars stashed in the truck but no liquid.
Lots more stuff that I don't even remember. All out of sight and stowed. The fords have good jacks and lug wrench gear. When I tow the trailer I throw a star wrench in the bed along with the trailer spare tire. Chains and binders are too heavy to drive around with so they stay at home.
