What do you do with your forks?

By the time we put away our snowmobiles, the snow on the driveway is gone if not everywhere. We take the batteries out so they do not run. Our smaller sled has a studded track that tears up the trailer.

This sled is around 700 lbs, but must of the weight is in front. Standard forks were not quite long enough to pick it up. Bought some extensions which make the job easy.

Tractor is an L3200 with filled rears and a roughly 700# ballast box.

More justification to get a fork attachment! LOL. I dragged and pushed my sleds around to store them this year but like this alot!

Things I've done with my pallet forks:
Pallets! I go to big box stores when they have landscaping stuff on sale, and buy it on a pallet. They load it in my dump trailer, and I unload it off there when I get home.
I've got all my implements on pallets. Makes it easier to hook up, and easy to move around.
All the landscaping material that was brought home on pallets and set aside until actually ready to use it....it's nice that it's still on a pallet and I can go get it and bring it to the site.
I've purchased lots of stuff that comes on a truck. When asked if a load deck is needed, I click "no". Things like:
Motorcycle
A building (quonset hut steel building. The panels came on pallets...I was able to unload the semi in the street and bring onto my property)
Spools of electrical wire, to wire quonset hut
Tractor implements that were ordered online.
A 100 gallon diesel tank
Appliances
...I'll add more as I remember them lol!
Moving lumber.
I used to use an engine hoist to lift up and load/unload my fifth wheel hitch. Now I use the forks on the tractor. Which means the hitch gets stored in the shed, and not taking up room in the garage!
There's a bunch more to add to the list. But y'all get the idea.

Cheers!

Here is how I did it.

That...is....AWESOME! I need to do that LOL! I've been thinking about getting a bigger tractor so I could lift more with the loader. If I just lift the pallets with the 3 point, I'm golden. Guess tomorrow I'm going to measure and see if my 3 point will reach the deck of my dump trailer...

Looking into buying a set of pallet forks for my Kubota B7800.

The more I read, the more I realize how many tractor owners use them.

Photos and information about your forks, how they are attached, and how
you use them would be great.

These are 48 inch pin top block forks:

Like others, I love my forks. Especially to haul sakrete. I'm getting to old to sling 80lb bags.
Also came in handy unloading my two post lift and getting it a tenth a mile to my garage.

Now ^^^^ that's funny!

OP: yes, a set of forks will increase useful tasks. many use forks as pry bars or shovels to dig...i don't recommend the practice on larger tractors, but with as small a size/capacity of your tractor, should not be a problem. regards

They are pretty good for moving furniture.
