what do you think of this trailer?

I emailed this guy to see if he is interested in trading my his trailer *** my Case IH as he said he would gladly pay cash on top of whatever trade. Anyways we have gone back and forth a couple times and he actually seems interested in forking over money on top of the trailer to get the tractor. I told him I thought the tractor was worth around $15,000.

So what do y'all think if this trailer? It looks awefully long, and a little long behind the axles. I am thinking about cutting off the back 4' and making a dovetail and some ramps. I need a trailer I can haul my Kubota on and also want a trailer for hauling hay, and logs.

A bit shorter, brand new and a bit further north that's a $8k trailer.

On top of it needing a deck I would expect it to need tires, the bearings re packed and wireing repaired. I wouldnt fully expect another $1k in parts alone needed for that.

Some times it's just not worth the aggravation in buying used.

Tires are 8 years old. Probably dry rotting by now.

I might add a dovetail. I wouldn't make a dovetail out of what is there. More length gives adjustability. Move the load more to get it just right. To avoid pinching holes in your seat from the pucker syndrome.
