Disc Harrow What do you think these discs are worth?

This disc is not the typical angle iron disc. It is a better design. It is easily adjustable for gang angles by pulling the pin in the center. If the disc is on roller bearings(not cast box bearings) the disc would be worth $400-$450. Ken Sweet

Since everyone was taking turns bashing this disc I was gonna let it go. But you stepped up and called it like it is Ken. :)

Whether it will perform the tasks the OP is looking for is debatable. This disc is capable of doing a variety of tasks because of it's adjustability. A LOT of disc owners have never saw an adjustable model obviously. :)

I have a 12' tandem wheel disc that I bought from the local scrap yard. Guy had bought it at a farm sale and then sold it for scrap because it "wouldn't disc". The gangs were set in their straightest option. It's just like this little disc, pull a pin and slide the center end of the gangs forward/rearward to adjust angle. Has 5 settings. It's not a plowing disc but does a great job of smoothing for planting and even works good to lightly bury broadcast seeding at it's various settings.

Sounds like you were very resourceful. From a Farmers standpoint, adaptability and being open minded to alternative ways of doing a job has served me well over the years. Ken Sweet

Thanks all, I really appreciate the discussion. I did see that they were adjustable. I think they are worth 100-200, not knowing pan condition and if bearings are ok. For most of what I will do with food plots they will be fine. But some of the work will require something different, the cultivators look interesting. There are enough used harrows around here, but they don't have the springs to trip on rocks, I'll need that. And I am definitely a repurpose it kind of guy, we will modify whatever is needed to make it work, but I do not want to pay more for something than what it is worth.

I bought an old stock new, spring type field cultivator from Ken Sweet.
Haven't received it yet, because I am South, and will have it shipped North.
I did consider a disc harrow, but having not even used the cultivator yet, I am convinced it will work great for me.
I do have a new King Kutter tiller, but I bought that before I came up with the cultivator idea.
The tiller will be good for the garden,(no more fighting the old Troy Bilt) and seeding new front lawn.
