Load Max 24' Lowboy has worked well only problem I have had ramps where too short the B/H would drag, adding 2' took care of it..

It is 16' long x 6'10" wide. with a two foot dovetail and 4' slide in ramps. It is manufactured by Mid-Atlantic Trailer and is actually their car hauler model.

Well I used to haul it on a car hauler but always felt uneasy (7000 GVW) since the hitch was only rated for 5/6000#.
Just this week I found out that the darn dealer had loaded the tires with calcium (I found out because it rotted the valve stems in less than a year!) Anyway, that gave me over well 7000# just for the tractor and loader!
I'm replacing the calcium with Rimgard real soon now and the dealer is going to hear a few choice words from me. If I wanted calcium in the tires, I might have stuck with my old M4700 (2wd) and saved a lot of money! I am not happy with the dealer 1) for putting calcium in and 2) for not telling me!
Anyway, back to the main question, since I'm buying a Kubota KX-121 excavator (9000#), I bought a 14,000# GVW 20+4 gooseneck. It hauls a lot better!

I get by with an '94 2WD stick shift Cummins Dodge and a 10K 20' Big Tex pipe trailer. Doesn't look like much, so you won't see photos here. The Dodge gets 24 to 25 mpg when not towing and around 18 mpg towing....beauty that's more than skin deep. But it does get stuck easily.
The trailer is a sturdy thing that seems to tow easier the more I use it. Pipe trailers with fold up rear ramps aren't a good choice for equipment, though. Too confining; no overhang allowed. For the Tractor and a compact implement, it's OK. Tractor with 6' bushhog is a nightmare and it won't be balanced right no matter how loaded. Then you have to make a second trip if you want the FEL...
Live and learn.

I love my "Vader mobile" but its gas, 4 x4, and a 3/4 ton so I won't tell you what sort of milage I get

Well, the red trailer brought the Kubota home.......The black trailer was open when new, and just got the spare tire carrier, and the side boards. When I haul a load of dirt, I put it on the front, and the tractor on the back to unload it........Chained down of course. The black trailer is 6'6" wide on the deck, and 12 ft long + a 2ft beavertail........Plenty of room for my B series with the loader on.
Oh yeah, I pull it with a Hemi powered Dodge Ram 2500 4x4.
