What does this spring go to?

The spring has grey over spray on it...I doubt it belongs with the mower deck...Is there another implement (blade, blower etc) that it may belong to....BTW...What is the model # of the deck... eg RKCxxxx...I tend to believe some of the previous responders that it belongs to the tractor and possible something doesn't work as well as a result of this broken spring..

My guess is that went up from the bracket it's hanging from. Do your brake pedals and clutch still work normal?

Hey repete, what kind of hydraulic oil do you put in your 2550'
can you use 32 weight hydraulic oil....

I use the hydraulic oil carried at Walmart. I change it and the filter every other year. I change the filter yearly. I believe clean mid grade fluid is better than contaminated top of the line oil.

5200 hours last week with never a hydraulic problem.

If you go to Kubota.com and lookup parts for B2320HST. Look at the transmission section and I believe it is the last section, and there is a spring that hooks to an adjustable rod that looks similar to what you are looking at.
I found it and tried to post a link to it, but it is in pdf and you could not open the page afterwards.
