What my tractor does best is something I never saw described in any of the sales material that I've seen.
The fella who sold us our house told me that his dad called their tractor his "thinking machine".
If he was stumped by a problem at work he'd come home, take off his office clothes, put on his coveralls and go do whatever needed doing with the tractor.
His dad said that as long as he was on the tractor he could think clearly - no phones ringing, nobody trying to make their problems his problems.
In a few minutes he'd "zone out", focused only on the tractor, the drone of the engine, the field moving under the tires.
After a few minutes in the zone, a solution to his work problem would mysteriously pop into his head.
Running a tractor does the same thing for me - solutions materialize out of nowhere.
If only I could get my employer to pay me for the seat time that really gets their work done ...
