Glad some of you guys are enjoying this one. I copied it from someone as well, a long time ago. The great descriptions create visuals that bring tears of joy from laughter every time I read it. It always makes me laugh out loud. It is probably my all time, funniest joke.

Getting back to dumb things it's not always getting injured or tearing something up.
We're good friends with the closest neighbors and when her Dad passed a couple years ago I bought property from them adjoining to mine but I should have bought the whole farm. I'm happy with what I got, but that was a major goof, especially since they said I could have bought it at a super price.
Point is when presented with a golden opportunity never hesitate. You can't turn back the clock.

That is true, but only sometimes.

Sometimes, when there is a pressing need to act, and act now, it typically means it was a bad deal. It is a tell-tale sign of scammers, "you got to act now before someone else does." Typically what it means is, they really do not want you to wait and think it through, and figure out how your are going to get screwed.

As for your issue: who knows, it might seem like a bad situation to be in, but things change, and down the road you might be glad you did not jump on the chance when you did. Never forget, property taxes are not cheap!

Regret is like that though, it has a bad aftertaste, so I try not to wallow in it.

All that you had to do was say "Salesmen", the rest is self explanatory. I"m starting to look at trucks right now, and I hate trying to talk "Salesmanese." They tell you everything except the answer to the question you just asked... then get mad when I turn my back on them and walk away.

First time I went to mow with the JD x485, I checked the pressure in the tires. I put all for valve stem caps on the foot board. Black caps on black foot board, bad idea:duh:. I decided the grass was to damp to mow. I mowed later. Then, after mowing, I always blow the JD off with compressed air. That's when I noticed the valve stems had not caps. :ashamed:

I asked the wife to pick up some new ones next time she went to the store. "what happened to the old ones?" she asked. "Worn out" I told her
