Are those original tires, by any chance?

Also, more pics would be nice.

Agreed! Let's talk CADplans into giving that IH it's own thread. I always enjoy seeing pictures of that machine.

From ten years ago, rigged the forks for my wife to set on while trimming and marking horse riding trails.

I bolted a piece of plywood on the forks, bungied a pillow to the top of the frame for her to sit on. The gray bag has trail markers in it.

I made some forks out of old 1" square drive shafting so they're not true pallet forks. It's hard stuff. I couldn't cut it with a hacksaw. They clamp to the leading edge of the bucket and extend out ~24" then to the rear of the bucket for counter support. I use them for moving shop equipment around, digging out cactus and hauling cut tree branches to the burn pile(s).

My vote is for a thread on that tractor. It's unusual in that it's FWA and while there are lot of IH's like that, few are FWA. Plus, every tractor has a story and I'll bet this one does as well.

ovrszd has a similar thing with his Ford 3910 in rare FWA. He's done a couple of nice threads on repairs he's done.

While we wait to get the IH in a separate thread, check out the threads done by ovrszd on his very rare Ford 3910 FWA. Very cool reading of fixing a front axle leak that became a big project as well as splitting the tractor to fix an oil leak. The Ford 3910 FWA and the IH FWA in this thread are tomorrow's collectables and today's workhorses.

I also think the Kubota M6800/M8200M9000 as well as the recent M7040 are in the mix as well but that's for another day.

ovrszd--can you post the thread links so we can find them?

Back in June of 2005 when I put this together, it was the only loader that I had.

Hauled a lot of brush and dead trees, made some big brush piles. Lift height to the pins is 9' 3".
