What else to buy?

Agree 100%. But I'm doing without it so far. Involves a lot of hopping on and off the tractor to adjust the 3PH. Good exercise. :) No doubt next year I'll spring for the $1800 top-n-tilt and then talk about how I can't believe I ever lived without it.

Why $1800? Does your tractor have a rear remote? You can get a hydraulic top link with all the fittings for under $200 and adding a rear remote shouldn't be more than $600-$700.

Tomorrow or Friday I plan on making an offer on a NX4510H with roof, FEL, and backhoe. Also plan on buying a box blade for it at the same time if the offer is accepted. I cut our grass with a small Deere so no need for a brush hog. At some point will buy a post hole digger and possibly pallet forks.

Is there a need to spend extra $$$ for hydraulic fittings/connections?

Have to echo the others....with a box blade at a minimum a hydraulic top link will save you so much aggrivation. To use a box blade you need to be able to adjust the forward to back tilt which effects whether you are scooping or dumping material while grading.

If you haven't looked at the versatility of a grapple then I'd advise you look into it. People who have them use them more than the bucket on their tractor. If you think you might want one in the future it might be less expensive to get the 3rd function installed by the dealer at purchase time but it can be added later too if you don't want to spend the money up front.

I can get a box blade in the $600 range. How much are you guys talking about for a model with hydraulics plus the cost of adding the rear remotes?

Ya'all sure like to spend money. I only need to grade 500 feet of hard packed gravel twice a year.

The box blade itself won't change. The extra hydraulics are installed on your tractor and work with any rear implement.

No existing rear remotes, unfortunately. This is roughly the price I was quoted for the whole TNT job, done by the dealer, as I ain't touchin' no hydraulics myself. :)

Consider thumb for the backhoe.

I'll talk to the dealer today. If I can get in a box blade unit with hyd and the remote needed to raise them for less than $500 more I'll consider it.

We just like to spend YOUR money lol.
If I was your neighbor I'd so invite you over for bbq a couple times during the summer...yo, Randy...bring the tractor.
Seriously, any dealer mounted options u can get negotiated down now below what it will cost u later 1is in your best interest if u can cover the cost unless u are so mechanical u can just do yourself. Had forgotten top and tilt - I'll have 1600' of driveway when house gets done in a few years - might come in handy. I do have 2 remotes coming installed on the tractor.

For now we are stalled at the price. Am hoping the dealer will budge some. But the salesperson told me there was no reason to go to a fancier style of driveway "leveler"
