My mom actually owned a 1973 AMX Javelin with a 401-4bbl.
It was black with the special interior (name escapes me).
It was pretty funny watching her drive it. She's a pretty meek and mild person, but that car just looked mean

That car would be worth quite a bit today!

Pierre Cardin, my brother had a 74 with 360 and bought a parts car with that interior in it, the javelin amx's never caught my fancy.
My friend has a '69 390, he was born in 1969 his dad used to own an AMC dealership but got out when Renualt became a part of the picture.
I was born in 1970 but dont like the minor 1970 body changes. between 1968 and 1970 there were only 16,000 2-seat AMXs made.
