What Engine Replaces Kawasaki FB460V?

I would purchase something new with warranty instead of patching up an old lawn mower. If it was a HD ground engagement lawn tractor, then maybe repairs would be justified.

I would love to go out and buy a new one but I can't afford it. I also need a snowblower attachment which in most cases adds around $1,200+ at Sears or way more at John Deere to the tractor itself. So finding a replacement engine with a few more horses that I can reasonably fit under the hood and make reliable is a good deal to me. Plus, I just really like the JD I have and have maintained. That and I already dropped a new trans in a few years ago when the case broke so what's an engine ??

I'm also in the market as my Kawasaki FB460V just doesn't have the power it use to. Would love to hear about transplants with photos.
