What equipment to mow a slope with?

Hmm... maybe I should sell the DR. I don't think I used it once last year.

Gee, that's how often I use mine. They are like neck-wrestling a billy goat. Badly needs separate clutches for each wheel! I have an 8-wheel Ventrac 4231 for slopes, but getting rid of the grass seems the best option here.

I own a Steiner 430 with dual wheels with a 60" mower deck (it came with the house), that is a goat. It is too slow for flat areas so I'm looking for a ZTR with a 72" deck for the flatter areas.

Since you have a good mower, have you considered just adding a Swisher pull behind mower to your Steiner to extend the amount your mowing in one pass? Probably a lot cheaper and faster than a 72" zero turn mower. Drop the Swisher on the hillsides and tight areas for better maneuverabity that your not going to have with the 72" deck.
Bigger isn't always better...
