What gear and RPM do you use most?

I find that when using the FEL, I use M, 3 or 4. I have a 4110 and I am curious which gears everyone else uses. I find that the High gears are just too fast, and the Low gears are just too slow. Also, what RPM?? Seems like 1500-2000 is running very high and loud. When using the FEL, what RPM speed is common?

1800 to 2200 for me with my Kubotas.

On my Mahindra 6000, w/the FEL L 1 to 4. RPM from 900 to 1500. BobG in VA

I use mid-range (hydro) & 1500 - 1800 rpm. Higher RPM's seem to make it more difficult to operate the FEL smoothly.
