I have a 5055E that is less than a year old. I know I need to be greasing everything and my implements. What is the best grease to use?

Oh geez. If you don’t have your own bias, then the best you can do is use the JD stuff you get at your dealer. It will do what it is intended to do. You are going to get a lot of differing opinions.

Just understand that some greases don’t mix. So use the JD stuff from your dealer.

I've been using Lucas Red N Tacky for just about everything including wheel bearings. Good stuff.

Look for a good, readily available water resistant grease. I use a Shell product but any good grease will do. I find that water resistance seems to be a stickier grease. It stays where it's needed for a longer period of time.

This will help you understand why you should just use what the dealer gives you. ”I” is in incompatible “C” is compatible and “B” is borderline. If you know what you are doing and why, then by all means buy what you think works for your purpose.
