What happened to Glennmac?

Not to worry Glenamc is alive and well. We just did the 50 hour service on his new tractor. I'm sure he will be reporting to you guys very soon. After all the ribbing here on TBN, I'm surprised he waited this long. I can tell you that his swamp appeared to be mowed completely, and there was no mention of a tow truck.

Even more so now that there snow upon the ground. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Still kicking and almost ready to swap seat time back to the bota. /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Yeah, where is he? He still owes me a Florida Gator Mug from a 2001 bet.

It's good to hear from you,Thomas. Say it is snowing up there?I'm glad I live a little more south than you. Has anyone heard from Harv?

Word has it that he still reads TBN several times a day, but he's kinda preoccupied with non-tractor pursuits so he isn't contributing much right now. He has every intention to become more active here again as soon as life "stabilizes" again. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Going back to a post that was linked "house tips" down in rural life which was posted back in 2000 made me realize how many folks were once here. I still have my original messages when I first signed up on this board. Some were to MChalkey. It's funny because at the time I was investigating buying a tractor and he was informing me about the merits of HST. Over 3 years latter and I must say, he was correct on every account. At the time he had a Kubota 4310 and I think after he got his Earth Force 5, that common link of interest was somewhat dissolved. No one else had what he had and while it was interesting for him to post his comments about the EF-5, I think he may also have felt a little less connected. I really enjoyed his comments pertaining to his "modified" Kubota. It was still orange though. I originally posted as Paddock, then Rat which has several thousand posts and back to Paddock only as _RaT_. Good to see you Harv. I thought you, RobertN and I were supposed to get together at his place over in Shingle Springs?

Indeed on the snow..just about 3" by Friday /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gifnow the temps low 60's and the snow gone away /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif..well least for now. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
Well better finish yet another cup /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif than blow somemore new fallen leaves over the banks, and maybe just maybe go for ride on the chopper. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Gotta admit tho..Kubota frame much easier on the butt than ridge chopper frame. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Not sure how to tackle my next dream project..to build or take Farmall 560?? and chop it down 1/3 or 2/3 running scale. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif..any ideas would be nice. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Okay..I do realize this is a tractor site, and the chopper does come in handy blowing the leaves off the driveway, also packing the driveway plus /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gifbut no so good for digging or cleaning ditches. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I do check in time and time, and I must say Tractorbynet still growing like a vine, and the respect & knowledge are still endless. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Take care Mike..and one and all and have a hot cup & donut for me. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Howdy, Rat! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Yeah, Robert extended a couple of invitations, but I couldn't juggle the family schedule enough to take him up on it. Right now I can't even break free on weekends to go see my tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I see my glass as half full, though, so I fully expect to solve all of my problems eventually. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif I'll see you both as soon as that happens.
