I've got one of those orange do-all wrenches myself, it works pretty good.

It does not seem to work on the Hydro filter though. Which the hydro is out there where you can get at it pretty easy.

Murph since that one is out in the open I use a strap wrench on that puppy with good results!

Yep, I like the strap one also. But I did take a double look and I think if you tap the wrench on the hydro one the wrench would go on it. I don't want to chance it right now as I don't have one to replace it. If not the trusty strap is here.

Here is a thread that Bird suggested a three legged oil filter wrench. Click Here. It looks like it will fit any size filter. I changed oil in my JD and Kubota yesterday using my trusty Channel Locks. They fit perfectly to all sizes of filters.

Hey Pineridge
On the zerk fittings......I have a FNH 1715 and the zerks are not metric or SAE....they are some kinda European thread. Nothing else fits. This is on the tractor only....They are only $4 each...ha ha. Hadda go to the dealer to get them. Think they are 9.6mm in dia on the thread, so a common 10mm won't fit.
Good luck. Pete in MS

Hey guys,

I wasn't looking for the size of the zirks. I was wondering where they all are on a class ll New Holland. I see them all over the place on my TC29D but I got to imagine that I am missing some of them. I was wondering if anyone made a complete list along with a description or sorts. We have this Bobcat trackhoe that gives you a complete list and they are numbered. If you follow the list you can't miss any of them.

My owners manual lists all of the zerks that need to be greased, I have not found any that are not on the list.
