What happened with the canopies?

Hi ya'll, I was one he tried to "mess over" and all it cost me was a few LD calls etc. I can assure you that he is alive and well. He was in an accident at one point but, his brother and others were involved. Following is a "report" on my dealing with *Bernie* The following was reported back in September and I am just repeating this as a result of those who wanted to know more about what happened and who might have been involved.

Hi ya'll,

I was one that ordered, and never received the canopy. I had paid him thu Paypal and as a result, it was charged to my credit card. Mastercharge imformed me that they would charge back against Paypal/Bernie. It remains to be seen if it will stick... ???

By the way, I was glad that I had charged the Paypal thu my credit card as opposed to my checking account. Paypal would rather charge against your personal account instead of your credit card account(They can sell the dealer on " No chargebacks") that way...

I also would like to hear any results of dealing with "Bernie". Keep in mind that most folks don't want you to know that they have been "taken"... Just a fact of life...

I did have a few people tell me that they did cancel orders with Bernie as a result of his actions that were reported in this forum.

Being in an accident is certainly forgiveable. However, it sure would have been nice for him or someone handling his business affairs to have sent emails to explain his difficulties. Even way after the fact.

I paid Bernie thru Paypal using my bank account. Never received the canopy and Paypal tried to debit Bernies account but of course, he had already clean it out. Tried to trace him thru his telephone numbers etc. all to no avail. Live and learn.
