Worst is a toss up between my 1961 Triumph TR-3 (my first car), or a 1968 Fiat Spyder. Coolest was a 1969 Triumph GT6+ or perhaps my 1966 GTO (major headaches). I was seriously into cars when I was young. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

That is one pretty car. I have always lusted after that Jag. I worked with a lady that owned one. The engine sounded better than most of todays music. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif John Wayne had a movie whose title escapes me at the moment where they blew up the car in the end. That was a Crime. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I met a lady who had one when I was a bag boy. I told her how much I wanted the car and she I said really did not want the car due to the rust and the electrical problems. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif She had a point since I could see the pavement through the floor of the car. Can't remember the year, but the worst car I ever owned was a Pontiac Bonneville with the diesel engine. The mechanics saw it more than I did.

Well, I guess I was the only one dumb enough to own a Yugo. I had a good excuse though...had no money and I just got out of boot camp. It ran like crap and fell apart on me. The only good thing was that when the starter went out, the car was light enough that I could pop-start it myself without any help. Drove it from Orlando to Miami and when I got to Miami and shut off it would never start again. I ended up having to leave it down there...I wonder what ever happened to it.

When I got mine, you could see the ground thru the floors too! Of course, name one car from the 60's that lived on the east coast that didn't rust!

I saw my first one in the late 60's when a customer brought it in for work. After I fixed it and test drove it, I knew I had to have one someday - and someday finally came. I have a web page on Cardomain, if anyone's interested is seeing the restoration - if so I'll post a link.

Funny, two cars I would like to have.... Watch "Vanishing Point", the original. The big-block Challenger running hard with the Jag XKE crnaking it up too. Both would be cool /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
